Liv Aira is a dancer, choreographer and artistic director from Sápmi, Jokkmokk, Sweden. With a Master's degree in dance and choreography from the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, she has developed a powerful and spiritual body of work, nourished by her Sámi roots. Her creations combine live performances, screendance and the organization of events such as the Låvda festival, affirming her commitment to the transmission and dissemination of choreographic art.
Today, she performs internationally with her own productions as well as those of other companies, and her work is recognized for its animal imagination and inhabited movements. Since 2010, Liv has also been teaching dance (contemporary, jazz, classical) in numerous institutions and workshops around the world, sharing her sensitive and demanding approach with dancers of all ages.
