A dancer and choreographer from Martinique, Murielle Bedot has been exploring the body as a territory of memory, emotion and transformation for over sixteen years. With a state diploma in jazz dance, she has fashioned a singular choreographic style, nourished by her Afro-Caribbean roots, mental preparation and deep listening to the body.<\/p>\n

Son travail se situe \u00e0 la crois\u00e9e de la danse contemporaine afro, du th\u00e9\u00e2tre corporel et de la ritualit\u00e9 du mouvement.
\n\u00c0 travers ses cr\u00e9ations, elle interroge la posture, la pr\u00e9sence et la puissance f\u00e9minine, cherchant toujours \u00e0 relier la chair \u00e0 l\u2019esprit, l\u2019individuel au collectif, le visible \u00e0 l\u2019invisible.<\/p>\n

Directrice artistique de la compagnie SEL, elle con\u00e7oit la sc\u00e8ne comme un espace de lib\u00e9ration et d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9vation.
\n Ses pi\u00e8ces, comme ses ateliers et performances, c\u00e9l\u00e8brent la force du corps noir, le courage de la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 et la reconqu\u00eate du pouvoir int\u00e9rieur.<\/p>\n

Murielle s\u2019attache \u00e0 r\u00e9v\u00e9ler la beaut\u00e9 du geste brut, celui qui na\u00eet du r\u00e9el, de la douleur, du souffle, du silence.
\nChor\u00e9graphe engag\u00e9e, elle collabore avec des artistes issus de diff\u00e9rentes disciplines : danse, musique, arts visuels, \u00e9criture, pour cr\u00e9er des \u0153uvres sensibles et percutantes, \u00e0 la fois introspectives et universelles.
\nSa d\u00e9marche vise \u00e0 reconnecter le public \u00e0 son propre corps, \u00e0 son humanit\u00e9, \u00e0 sa rage de vivre.<\/p>\n

Through her creations, Murielle pursues the same quest: to transform buried emotions into creative power, to turn the body into a voice, and the stage into a place of truth.<\/p>\n

He has a background in international sales and change management, specializing in international business transformation and has an interest in real sustainability.
