Julien Floria explores the zones of friction between artistic gesture, technological innovation and the natural environment. Both a visual creator and a designer, he develops work centred on immersion and sensory perception.
A specialist in generative art, he treats code and algorithms as a malleable material, creating works in constant evolution. His approach is closely tied to live performance: he designs systems that respond in real time to music, movement or the environment, transforming performance into an organic, living visual experience. He has collaborated with artists from the music scene on projects such as PARADE, combining plant design and interactive scenography.
At 150 m d’altitude, Julien brings his expertise in designing hybrid systems, bridging cutting-edge creative tools and narratives rooted in the territory. His work within the residency reflects an ongoing commitment to research, in which technology does not replace the living but seeks to reveal its invisible poetry.
